Former Democratic State Rep. Mark Miloscia announced March 6 that he is running for State Senate in the 30th Legislative District, as a Republican! “The hard-working people in the 30th District deserve a Senator who will work to make government efficient and accountable, from local classrooms to big government agencies,” said Miloscia. “Today, it’s the Republican Party that offers a big tent, welcoming different views.”
Miloscia’s switch is another of many recent examples of fiscally responsible Democrats being forced out by the liberal big government interests dominating today’s Washington State Democratic Party. These examples include Senator Rodney Tom, Senator Tim Sheldon, and Former State Auditor Brian Sonntag.
