Make Things Right In 2016

Washington State Republican Party Chairman Susan Hutchison sent out the following message on December 31:

“Thank you for all you’ve done to help the people of our state and country to make things right again.”  That’s what Jane, a 90+ year old voter from Camano Island wrote to me recently about our work at the WSRP.  Will you please take a moment to make a donation to kick off Election Year 2016 and help us and our candidates “make things right again”?  Thank you!

Susan Hutchison

Can You Hear The Bells? A Christmas Message From The WSRP

Washington State Republican Party Chairman Susan Hutchison sent out the following message on December 24:

“Peace on earth!,” the angels said, and we sing it still — even as our world is in turmoil.  For encouragement, I urge you to read the words of the Christmas carol “I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day.”

Written by abolitionist (Republican) Henry Wadsworth Longfellow on Christmas Day in 1863, when his son was seriously wounded in the Civil War, the words of the final stanza give us hope even now:

I heard the bells on Christmas Day their old, familiar carols play,
and wild and sweet the words repeat
of peace on earth, good-will to men!

And thought how, as the day had come, the belfries of all Christendom
had rolled along the unbroken song
of peace on earth, good-will to men!

And in despair I bowed my head; “There is no peace on earth,” I said;
“For hate is strong, and mocks the song
of peace on earth, good-will to men!”

Then pealed the bells more loud and deep: “God is not dead, nor doth He sleep;
the Wrong shall fail, the Right prevail,
with peace on earth, good-will to men.”

Prayerfully claiming these words for 2016!

A Football Game Reminds Us….

Washington State Republican Party Chairman Susan Hutchison sent out the following message on December 10:

A football game reminds us….

When it comes to the national security of our country, these young men will graduate to serve in the leadership of our armed forces.  We owe a debt of gratitude to all the men and women who volunteer to serve–our safety and national security depends on them.

God Bless America, and God Bless those serving in our Armed Forces!

Trump Response

In response to media requests for a comment on Donald Trump’s latest,  WSRP Chairman Susan Hutchison has released the following statement:

“I agree with the statements made by our GOP elected leaders. But the real issue is that the Obama/Clinton foreign policy has put this nation at risk for terrorist attacks as we saw in San Bernardino. Shame on the media for changing the subject.”

WSRP Statement On Jeff Sprung Announcement

BELLEVUE, WA, December 7 – Today, Jeff Sprung, a Seattle lawyer, announced his candidacy for State Auditor. Sprung is a member of the Washington Progress Alliance, which financially supports far-left organizations that push extreme policies such as a gas-price-hiking carbon tax and a state income tax.

“Instead, Senator Mark Miloscia, who has fought for efficient, effective, and accountable government his entire career is the candidate that best serves the people of this state.

“Sprung embraces Seattle-style politics and will look for excuses to implement a state income tax instead of exploring ways our government can save money and work more efficiently for all Washingtonians. Our next State Auditor should be above ideology, something that the far-left affiliated Sprung certainly is not.”
