UPDATE: Audio Reveals Democrats Plans to Disrupt Town Hall

WSRP Chairman Susan Hutchison sent out the following message on Tuesday February 28:

Last week, I told you about the Democrats’ training manual used by protestors to cause mayhem and disruption at GOP town hall meetings here and throughout the country.

My message struck a nerve with organizers who have trained their “resisters” to bombard our WSRP office with phone calls, emails, and postcards (using the same well-rehearsed Democrat talking points) denying they are involved in an organized left-wing effort.

Now, a leaked audio of a secret planning meeting reveals how false the denials are.  You can listen as Democrat protest organizers explain how to create a hostile environment at one GOP Senator’s town hall meeting.  To access the audio, go to www.wsrp.org/leaked-audio

We know the Democrats’ goal is to undermine the will of the people in the 2016 election.  With their allies in the media, they hope to weaken our Republicans so they won’t go forward with GOP plans for jobs, truly affordable health care, and a strong defense against terrorists.

But our elected GOP Representatives won’t be deterred from doing the important business of the people!  We will continue to shine the light, exposing the Democrats’ tactics.  Help us do this important job by donating $25, $50, $100 or more.  To donate, go to https://wsrp.org/donate/

Exposed: The Democrats’ plan of disruption and intimidation

WSRP Chairman Susan Hutchison sent out the following message on Monday February 20:

Democrats are planning an all out effort of mayhem and disruption to undermine the results of the 2016 elections.  They’ve put together a training handbook for protestors with detailed instructions to harass and intimidate. They are targeting Republican members of Congress for defeat in 2018.

The WSRP is shining a light on the Democrats’ hypocrisy and we’ve posted their manual on our website.  We want you to know what the American people are up against.  To view the protesters’ training handbook, click here.

The handbook is deceptively entitled “Indivisible,” but the Democrats’ plan is just the opposite – their modus operandi is dividing the American people.  The handbook bears the names of former Democrat congressional staffers, but is clearly the work of hard core agitators who have taken Alinksy’s “Rules for Radicals” to new levels of disruption against the democratic process.

The New York Post reports:

“An Obama-tied activist group training tens of thousands of agitators to protest President Trump’s policies plans to hit Republican lawmakers supporting those policies even harder this week, when they return home for the congressional recess and hold town hall meetings and other functions.

“Organizing for Action, a group founded by former President Barack Obama and featured prominently on his new post-presidency website, is distributing a training manual to anti-Trump activists that advises them to bully GOP lawmakers into backing off support for repealing ObamaCare, curbing immigration from high-risk Islamic nations and building a border wall….”

This effort is a disrespectful slap in the face of the American people.   Donald Trump is the duly-elected president.  And the GOP members of our state’s congressional delegation – Cathy McMorris Rodgers, Dave Reichert, Jaime Herrera Beutler, and Dan Newhouse – were all re-elected by huge margins, defeating Democrat candidates who supported Obamacare and the rest of the progressive agenda.

The New York Post article continues:

“These aren’t typical Black Lives Matter or Occupy Wall Street marchers, but rather professionally trained organizers who go through a six-week training program similar to the training — steeped in Alinsky agitation tactics — Obama received in Chicago when he was a community organizer….”

The Democrats hope to force their progressive agenda through with their tactics of intimidation, but together we can block their plan.  Show your support for our Republican members of Congress – call their offices and tell them to stand strong against the Democrats.  Here are the numbers to call:

Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers: (509) 684-3481
Rep. Dave Reichert: (425) 677-7414
Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler: (360) 695-6292
Rep. Dan Newhouse: (509) 452-3243

Presidents Day Statement

WSRP Chairman Susan Hutchison sent out the following message on Monday February 20:

Today we honor and reflect on the legacy of all presidents who have served this great nation.  George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, and Ronald Reagan are only a handful of the many revered Commanders-in-Chief that Americans hold dear.

As we look back and reflect on the accomplishments of presidents past and present that have served our great nation, may we also celebrate our newly elected President Donald J. Trump and look ahead to our bright future under his presidency.  Wishing each of you a safe and happy Presidents Day.

Hutchison Statement on Neil Gorsuch/Senator Murray Meeting

Bellevue, February 16 – WSRP Chairman Susan Hutchison issued the following statement today:

“President Donald Trump made the promise of nominating a Supreme Court justice in the mold of Justice Antonin Scalia a centerpiece of his campaign, and he fulfilled the promise when he nominated Judge Neil Gorsuch — an eminently qualified judge with a sterling track record of faithfully interpreting the Constitution.  However, Senator Murray and her fellow Senate Democrats are playing politics by holding the ninth seat of the Supreme Court hostage. Elections have consequences, and Senator Murray should remember that as she meets with Judge Gorsuch today.”

Black History Month

WSRP Chairman Susan Hutchison sent out the following message on Monday February 6:

February is Black History Month, and we celebrate and honor the many contributions African-Americans have made to our nation and to the Republican Party.

The Washington State Republican Party is a party for all Americans, which is why we are working to fully fund education, expand school choice, create economic opportunities in every neighborhood, and listen to the concerns of all voters.

The first African-American legislator in our state, William Owen Bush (1832-1907), a Republican from Thurston County, introduced and helped pass our state’s first civil rights bill, and introduced the legislation that led to the establishment of Washington State University.

And ex-slave Horace Cayton (1859-1940) was the founder and publisher of the Seattle Republican, which at one time was Seattle’s second largest newspaper.  He was a frequent delegate to the county and state nominating conventions, secretary of the party’s King County convention in 1902, and for several years a member of the Republican State Central Committee.

Our focus will remain on making sure Washingtonians of all backgrounds can achieve their dreams, and understanding that we are stronger when we embrace diversity.  Whether it was the courage of Harriet Tubman, the inventiveness of George Washington Carver, or the moral clarity of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., African Americans have richly shaped the American story, and we are proud to celebrate that heritage all month long.
