BELLEVUE – Chairman Caleb Heimlich released the following statement following King County Executive Dow Constantine’s misuse of his security detail.

“First it’s the Governor, now it’s the King County Executive, Dow Constantine, misusing his office and abusing the taxpayer-funded security detail that is ordered to protect him.  When is the blatant arrogance from the left going to end?”

“Dow Constantine is using his elected office for personal benefit, and even worse, mistreating the specially trained women and men who have dedicated their life to public service.  Democrats have left hardworking Washingtonians out to dry.”

Whether it’s Governor Inslee costing taxpayers $4 million for his vanity run for the White House, or Dow Constantine forcing these elite officers to drive him to bars or his bi-weekly hair appointments – these actions are a disgrace to voters across the state and it’s clear that Democrats are more interested in serving themselves than serving the public.”
