Bellevue, May 15 – The Washington State Republican Party issued the following press release today:
Washington State Republican leadership from across the state will conduct their May meeting in Bremerton on Saturday May 20th, Armed Forces Day. The 130 members from each of the 39 counties will break from their meeting to observe the 69th Annual Armed Forces Day Parade, which is the nation’s largest and longest-running Armed Forces Day Parade. GOP State Representatives Drew MacEwen, Jesse Young, and Michelle Caldier will be participating in parade activities.
Interview Opportunity: WSRP Chairman Susan Hutchison, State Senate candidate Jinyoung Lee Englund, and other GOP leaders will be available for interviews at Fourth and Pacific from 10:15 am to 11:45 am. The WSRP strongly supports the US Military, and will be participating in the parade to honor our veterans, active duty servicemen and women, and military families.
Jinyoung Lee Englund is running for the State Senate in the 45th Legislative District, the seat previously held by the late Andy Hill. Jinyoung’s family is a military family – her husband is an active duty Marine, her brother is active duty Army, and her father is retired Army.
