BELLEVUE – Chairman Heimlich released the following statement after Governor Inslee’s latest press conference regarding his coronavirus response.

“While Governor Inslee finally put forth a plan that begins to address future concerns, his plan does not address the concerns of Washingtonians right now.

Families are concerned right now, businesses are concerned right now, and we need a plan that starts safely right now – not one that could slowly begin over the weeks and months ahead. We are seeing states like Colorado, and now California, begin to lift their stay at home orders yet Governor Inslee refuses to trust Washingtonians to act responsibly.

It’s disappointing that Governor Inslee continues to put businesses and families on the fast track to bankruptcy and poverty. We need to have faith in our fellow Washingtonians and trust them to begin operating their businesses and lives with the same faith we’ve had in grocery stores and big-box stores.”

Only fear is in control of you. Civil disobedience is not a crime. Shaking in your shoes is cowardly. Let’s open up he cannot arrest all of us. Your founding fathers would be ashamed of us!

Inslee you have no real facts to back up delaying the opening of our businesses. I feel you are better influenced by a wealthy man like Gates You are inept at planning ahead. Only your interests are of concern to you
Open our state back up and concentrate on doing something about the filthy homeless situation

Keep up the good work! We can’t let him destroy our economy and life’s. I would love to know what I can do to help end the stay at home order? Please tell me and all the other hard working Washingtonians that love our country and our home, the state of Washington, how to stop that “snake.” Thank you…
