We’re almost two weeks into the 2020 Legislative Session and wow… we are already seeing the stark differences between Republicans and Democrats.

Democrats have already:

• Asked the state Supreme Court to over turn a decades old precedent to allow a local income tax
• Elected one of WA’s biggest capital gains income tax advocates, Laurie Jinkins, to serve as Speaker of the House
• Started  to take away the voters’ right to make policy decisions by limiting initiatives and referendums, simply because they didn’t like voters’ decisions on $30 car tabs and affirmative action.
• Banned plastic bags across the entire state with no public input…

… and that list doesn’t even include their pay-per-mile scheme, Jay Inslee’s low-carbon fuel standard that could raise gas prices another 50 cents, or the 10+ bills aimed at restricting your Second Amendment rights.

Meanwhile, Republicans have put the interests of the people front and center: pushing for lower property taxes, implementing $30 car tabs, fighting for first responders, and protecting our Second Amendment rights – but doing this from the minority can only go so far.
Can you pitch in $50, $25, or even $10 so we can retake seats in the State House and State Senate and give our Republican legislators the majorities they need to get the work done?

Our teams are working across the state, knocking on doors, and letting voters know whats really happening in Olympia – and how we can change it, but we need your help to make it all come together.  We’re off to a good start, but let’s make it great!
