BELLEVUE, WA – The Washington State Republican Party (WSRP) Chairman, Caleb Heimlich, released the following statement in response to the Democrat’s ‘negligible’ Inflation Reduction Act passing in Congress.
 
“The Democrat’s so-called ‘Inflation Reduction Act’ passed through Congress despite the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) stating its effect on inflation will be negligible. Representative Kim Schrier’s decision to tow the party line and vote for this bill, which will both raise taxes on the middle class and hire 87,000 new IRS agents, was wrong for the voters of the 8th district. Representative Schrier claims in her ads, to “take on the Biden administration.” This vote demonstrates again that she will always vote with the Biden/Pelosi agenda of higher taxes and more pain for working-class Washingtonians.”
