Sen. Patty Murray Clings To Past In Latest Election Bid
BELLEVUE — The Washington State Republican Party (WSRP) released the below statement in response to Sen. Patty Murray announcing her 6th election bid for U.S. Senate:
“Patty Murray may have started off as the Mom in Tennis Shoes but after thirty years she is just another D.C. insider who is more concerned with catering to special interests than listening to the voters of Washington state,” said WSRP Chairman Caleb Heimlich. “Murray’s announcement video highlights an elected official who has been in office far too long, who is desperately clinging to what she has done in the past, and only offers vague platitudes on what she would do if elected to a 6th term. Early polling has shown the people of Washington want change in leadership, with just 31% of polled voters suggesting that she should run for reelection.”
