The Seattle Times has no problem running articles about how Republicans in Washington State don’t stand a chance in 2020.  Now they’re denying us an equal voice in the conversation.

The latest hit piece from Danny Westneat is an egregious miscarriage of journalism and a blatant lie about our Party – just take a look at some of these quotes:

“As bad as it has been in politics for Republicans around here lately — and it’s been almost historically bad — the next phase has officially begun. Which is that it’s getting worse.”

“What’s most baffling is that the Republican Party isn’t adapting.”

“Well, this column suggests why that is. It’s because [Democrats] have nothing, at all, to worry about.”

Not only did Danny not bother calling our office to get the facts or give us a chance to respond to his biased piece, but now the Seattle Times is refusing to publish our response.

They may not want their readers to hear it, but Washingtonians deserve the truth. We continue to work harder everyday to elect a Republican Governor and flip majorities in the State House and State Senate but we need your help – can you pitch in $50 or $25 to help us counter the liberal mainstream media bias and conservative censorship in Washington State?

Apparently the Seattle Times hasn’t learned anything from 2016. After all, Democrats have “nothing… to worry about.” Fine. They’ll never know what hit ’em in 2020.

I actually get nauseated when I read the Seattle Times biased and opinionated twist that you call reporting, of anything Trump. I will watch his speeches or related proceedings and then read your false interpretations and I think to myself, “Journalism has disappeared”. I voted for Obama twice, and once I started asking people why they voted for Trump, and found for myself the false information in the media, I switched. I’m waiting for 2020 like a kid waits for Santa Claus!
