WSRP Chairman Calls for the Resignation of Insurance Commissioner Mike Kreidler

BELLEVUE — The Washington State Republican Party (WSRP) Chairman Caleb Heimlich has called for the resignation of Washington’s Insurance Commissioner Mike Kreidler following several credible allegations against Commissioner Kreidler of serious verbal and emotional abuse towards his staff.

“The allegations against Mike Kreidler are troubling and demonstrate a serious pattern of mismanagement and mistreatment of staff,” said Chairman Heimlich. “Commissioner Kreidler should do the right thing and resign. I would expect leading Democrats including Governor Jay Inslee, who Monday stated his support for employees, to join me in making our state government a more hospitable work environment for the people who serve our great state.”

Chairman Heimlich continued, “This is the latest in a long line of recent scandals involving leading Democrats, including: Troy Kelley whose home was raided by the FBI, for committing fraud and possession of stolen property, while holding office as Washington State’s Auditor; Governor Jay Inslee who wasted millions of taxpayer dollars touring the United States in his failed bid for the US Presidency; Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal who was accused just last year of fostering a toxic work environment, with crickets from the party that claims to represent workers; King County’s very own Dow Constantine who misused his own office and taxpayer money to turn his Executive Protection Unit into his own personal chauffeur. More recently, Democrat staffers in our state even held a walk-out protesting their working conditions. The irony couldn’t be stronger – Democrat politicians are pushing these policies, while refusing to follow them themselves.

“Enough is enough, it is time for new leadership and new management in Washington State.”
