WSRP Response To President Biden’s First Congressional Address

BELLEVUE — The Washington State Republican Party’s (WSRP) Chairman Caleb Heimlich issued the following statement tonight in response to President Joe Biden’s first Congressional address:

“Joe Biden campaigned for President on a promise of bipartisanship. He broke that promise as soon as he took office and began passing trillions of dollars in new spending without any Republican support. His hyper-partisan policies are eliminating good paying middle-class jobs and reducing opportunities for all Americans. Meanwhile, less than 10% of Biden’s infrastructure package will provide funds for roads, bridges, and highways that are in desperate need of modernization. When you spend two trillion dollars last week, two trillion this week, and announce two trillion in spending for next week, at some point it becomes real money! President Biden’s vision of bigger government funded by higher taxes and mortgaging our children’s future is wrong for America.”
