BELLEVUE – Chairman Heimlich released the following statement regarding the events happening in Washington D.C.

“Today’s events are unfathomable. I never thought I would see something like this in the greatest country in the history of the world. Violence, intimidation, and disruption of the business of the People’s House is wholly unacceptable, and it flies in the face of our nation’s foundational values.”

The fact that I’m the only comment tells you how relevant the republican party is.

You need to primary everybody that ran and did not back our president or you’ll not get votes again

Thank you for the opportunity to communicate Chairman Heimlich. While I agree with your statement, I also want to suggest that our party is in tatters and grossly lacking in what is so desperately needed – meaningful dialogue and honest communication. Many who are on our side, so to speak, despite lower themselves to these awful acts, remain fed up with the progressive message which we will now get to live with for the next 2-4 years. Trump has been both a bellwether and a lightning rod for the past few years. While he’s nothing the party should necessarily be proud of in general, he spoke to a convincing majority of the electoral college four years ago and, truth be known – we shall see – may have done so again in November despite the certified outcome.
I IMPLORE you and other state Republican Parties to work to get our collective shit together in terms of our prioritized values, in terms of what we will and won’t accept from our most discontented members in terms of behavior, and in terms of how we want to be perceived as a country in the greater sense, beyond our specific platform. Speaking for myself, I have no real idea what the Republican Party of the United States is all about after the past four years. National Review has one perspective. Heritage Foundation, another. Turning Point USA, another. Judicial watch, another. Stand for America, another. Religious conservatives, another. And in that DISunity falls the party in the next election. We HAVE TO DO BETTER and do so across our Great Nation. You, and the party leadership of this state are at the helm, at least in Washington State, and MUST do better to create the unity we need to outwit the progressive and ill-educated, non-historically based, and Constitutionally morose left. I am willing to help.

If any of you stepped from the public right-of-way onto the property of the US Congress, the FBI is searching for you. You will be held accountable for your actions.

What are people to do when representatives wont listen to We the People on voter fraud, suppression and tyranny by the left. We are not going away and we will not be silenced. It was a protest not a riot. The left started this and we will finish it. Guaranteed

Please point to specific statements Heimlich has made over the past several months in opposition to BLM and Antifa. Thanks

Barbara Reiswig · January 12, 2021 at 6:56 pm

As a life long Republican I call on you to ask all Party members to accept the outcome of the election , condemn the behavior of Donald Trump and ask all party members to refrain from participating in any protests or rallies next week. If the Republicans disrupt the inauguration I may will never support the party again. I support the impeachment of the President as he needs to be held to account for his behavior. Our democracy is at risk!

1/13/2021: House Republicans who voted to impeach President Trump:
1) Liz Cheney – Wyoming
2) John Katko – New York
3) Adam Kinzinger – Illinois
4) Fred Upton – Michigan
5) Jaime Herrera Beutler – Washington
6) Dan Newhouse – Washington
7) Peter Meijer – Michigan
8) Tom Rice – South Carolina
9) Anthony Gonzalez – Ohio
10) David Valadao – California

Two Washington RINOs need to be removed from the Republican Party. Donations and support will not be offered until this action takes place.

It’s also unfathomable and flies in the face of nation’s foundational values that President Trump encouraged these acts and did little to stop them once they had started. He – and so many other Republicans – now want to continue lying to us, and deny responsibility, while at the same time they want to throw Trump’s supporters under the bus, calling for their arrests.

David F · January 14, 2021 at 4:08 pm

And it is also unfathomable and flies in the face of our nation’s foundational values that President Trump encourage this ‘wild’ behavior and did nothing to stop it once it had started. And still the Republican Party tries to deny any involvement or responsibility.

David F · January 14, 2021 at 4:12 pm

And congratulations to Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler for calling accountability, and voting to impeach Donald Trump. She is very brave and should be commended by her party.

Julie Martinoli · January 15, 2021 at 7:25 am

I am disgusted by the 2 republican votes to impeach President Trump. Jaime Herrera Butler and David New house. NO republican money should go to them and they should be sentured. The Washington State Republican Party must actively work to rid our party of these disloyal traitors!

When is the Republican Party going to come out and “condemn” the coward state RINOS (we know who they are) who voted to not contest the election and who voted for impeachment?

William Weiss · January 15, 2021 at 11:37 am

Just returned my contribution request form with the note: I can’t contribute to the WSRP until Newhouse and Beutler are not supported by WSRP and I will support true conservative running against them in a primary.

Zero comments? Good statement about Jan 6 events.

Ted DeVol · January 16, 2021 at 7:01 pm

Wyoming republican party wrote a scathing Response to their representative Cheney turning traitor and voting to impeach President Trump. Where is our state parties condemnation of Rep. Dave Newhouse and Kathy McMorris Rodgers? Those two represent the 20 of Republican in the house to let the democrats and media hold a trial against President Trump and they voted with the hate filled Democrat party. Those 2 are Traitors to the Republican Party.
