We’re seeking a Finance/Development Intern who is ready to take their next step in their career. You should be comfortable with CRMs and excel spreadsheets. You should be a rock star at finding information online so quickly that our heads will spin.

You will assist and lead on donor relation and research efforts, writing, crafting creative concepts for all fundraising related projects, event organization and execution, project management, research, donor list creation, and more.

Bring passion, attention-to-detail, and a willingness to learn and grow.

Interns will also be tasked with typical office duties, including but not limited to, answering phones, assisting with bulk mail, research, filing paperwork, etc.

*You must be a degree-seeking student for this position. The internship requires a minimum of 15 hours per week at WSRP headquarters, however additional hours are strongly encouraged.

Desired Skills

  • Demonstrated history of delivering work on time
  • Experience working in CRMs and excel spreadsheets
  • Strong research skills and demonstrated attention to detail
  • Supporting research effort and creating briefing materials
  • Identifying, supporting and maintaining critical development-related databases

We are seeking a grassroots intern that is interested in learning about the core processes of a non-profit’s field operations. You should have strong organizational skills and an unmatched work ethic. You should want to learn more about event planning, logistics, and grassroots organizing.

You should excel at finding information online quickly and an understanding of state and local policy issues is helpful, but not necessarily required. Creativity, however, is a must.

We’re seeking a Communications Intern who is ready to take their next step in their career.

You should have a strong interest in public relations and public affairs. You will help amplify the voices of Washingtonians who want to build a better future for hardworking taxpayers across the state.

You will assist and lead on media relations efforts, writing, crafting creative concepts for all platforms – written, visual, and audio, audio/visual editing, event organization and execution, project management, research, media list creation, and more.

  • Interest in public speaking, or mass media communications is a plus.
  • Experience working with Office Suite, Google apps, basic audio/visual editing software, and website back-end platforms is a plus.
