BELLEVUE – Chairman Heimlich released the following statement after three people were stabbed in Downtown Seattle by an individual who has been arrested twenty-two times previously:

“The stabbing in Downtown Seattle is a truly unbelievable, horrifying incident, and a clear indication of the failure of Democratic leadership.”

“Seattle-style Democrats virtue signal instead of governing, and these outcomes are the result of their failure to enforce the law.  Far-left liberals continue to allow rampant lawlessness, obscene drug use, and violence in our community. The people of Washington State deserve common sense leadership that will actually address these issues instead of grandstanding and running for their next office.
